Sitemap
A sitemap is an XML file that lists the pages of a website containing content. The purpose of the sitemap is to inform search engines, such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo, about the organization of content for crawling and indexing. Each entry in the sitemap provides metadata about a URL, including its location (URL) within the site, the last modification date, the change frequency, and its priority relative to other URLs.
As an end user, you may want the content you create with the HelpStudio to be SEO-friendly. To address this need, HelpStudio introduces a new feature called Automated Sitemap Generation.
Automated Sitemap Generation
Each time you build a project in the HelpStudio, it automatically generates and saves a sitemap in the build output folder on your machine. You can then submit the sitemap to search engines to help them efficiently discover and index all content pages on your website. This process significantly boosts your website's visibility in search engine results pages by ensuring that all relevant content is indexed and potentially displayed to users seeking related information.
